Today, organizations find that there is global competitiveness in many areas, and a continual need to improve productivity. Problems plaguing organizations include increased administrative overhead, external pressures for increased efficiency, internal pressure for increased effectiveness, and desire by workers for more reward and less stress. Many organizations look to a lot of different technologies for help.

3 features to improve your work

Just like an Architect, we are always looking to improve those workflows and processes to make everything as Lean as possible for you in your day-to-day work. Connect existing workflows in your company together with new technology with timesaving features. Accomplish more with some really good workflows, save time and hopefully have less stress.

Naviate is a Revit plug-in that empowers 6000+ users to accelerate their project documentation and optimise working methods. Standards are built-in and everything is preconfigured to enhance your BIM workflow. Our development are based on industry requirements and user feedback with experience from 6+ front running BIM nations and customers. One product to serve different workflows, not only bits and pieces to help you achieve your goal.

Curtain Grid Designer

Improved functionality for reading, editing and adding Curtain Grids to Curtain Walls.

Reading and Editing Curtain Grids
Read, unpin and move “type-driven” and “user-driven” curtain grids without removing referenced dimensions and annotations from the Curtain Wall.

You will be able to move Grids individually or apply a predefined Grid pattern which will move all existing grids to the pattern-defined location.

Adding Curtain Grids
We have also improved the functionality of adding Grid lines to the Curtain Wall. Now you are able to add a grid line in between two existing grids by selecting any grid and adding a grid line above it.

Create 3D Zones from Areas

Create 3D Zones based on the boundary of Areas. The feature let you create 3D Zones for all Areas in an Area plan or for selected Ares in one operation.

You can create 3DZone using Scope Box, Filled Region, Floor or Model in-place components

  • When using Scope Box, Filled Region or floors, there are two ways to do this
  • to starting a feature and then select an element, or
  • to using preselection of element you want to create 3DZone from

You can use the 3D Zones to write data to elements inside each 3D Zone or to filter out elements within a 3D Zone in Filter Elements.

Pattern Editor

With Pattern Editor you can directly edit the settings for any Revit hatch pattern. Simple patterns (equal distance and same angle on all lines) can be edited directly in Revit itself, but more complex patterns require the user to write a custom hatch pattern definition file (a .pat-file) and then import the definition file to a Custom Pattern instead of a Simple Pattern.

Writing this type of definition file is quite a challenge, since the format is based on the same kind of hatch patterns used in AutoCAD. With Pattern Editor you can edit existing patterns and create new patterns without using a pattern definition file. You can also preview the changes as well as duplicate, rename and apply the pattern to materials in the Revit project.

Pattern Editor allows you to:
  • Edit a pattern by integrating the Edit mode within the main dialog
  • Switch between Pattern lines while editing
  • Work easier with Grid spacing and Zoom functionality for more precision and ease of use
  • Have support for snapping Pattern lines to content (to other Pattern lines)
